Privacy Policy

IT Learning Hub is a course catalog. Browsing it — the home page, the categories, the specializations, the full course list and the search — needs no account. Reading the body of most courses does. There are no payments, so we hold no payment details.

What we collect

Your account. If you create one, we store your email address and a hash of your password. We never store the password itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it. We also keep a record of each active sign-in, with the browser it came from and the IP address it came from, so a session can be expired.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which courses people read. It sets cookies and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and browser information. We use this only in aggregate, to decide what to publish next. We do not use it to identify individuals.

Anything you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and follow up on a training request. Nothing more.

Hosting. Our server records standard logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your data.
• We do not use it for advertising or share it with advertising networks.
• We ask for nothing beyond an email address and a password — no name, no company, no phone number.

Third parties

Google Analytics receives data when you load any page, and is governed by Google's own privacy terms.

SendGrid (Twilio) receives your email address when we need to send you something you asked for: a confirmation link, a password reset, or a notice that your password changed. It is never used for marketing.

Have I Been Pwned is consulted when you choose a password, to refuse ones that have appeared in known breaches. Your password is not sent. We send only the first five characters of its SHA-1 hash and compare the answer here, so the service cannot tell which password — or which account — was checked.

The site typeface is served from this site, not from Google Fonts.

Cookies

Two of ours, both only after you sign in: one holds your session and is readable only by the server; the other is a flag with no value in it, which lets the page show "Sign out" instead of "Sign in" without asking the server. Signing out removes both. Google Analytics sets its own, on every page.

Your choices

Browser-level cookie controls and "Do Not Track" settings, or Google's own opt-out add-on, will stop analytics collection. The site works fully without it.

Deleting your account is immediate and needs no one's help: sign in and use the delete button on your account page. Your address, password hash and sessions are removed from the database. There is no copy and no undo.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date above. Material changes will be called out on this page.
